The North Dakota Agricultural Association (NDAA) and the North Dakota Grain Dealers Association (NDGDA) announced in November of 2025 their intention to merge the two organizations pending the outcome of votes at each organization's respective Annual Meeting. NDAA and NDGDA are organizations that share a common mission of representing the interests of commercial agriculture in North Dakota. NDAA represents the commercial ag. retail industry and NDGDA represents the commercial grain industry.
NDAA passed the vote in December 2025 and NDGDA passed it in January 2026. The two organizations each selected six members to serve on the board of the new organization and those members met in February to select a name and elect officers. The name for the merged entity is the Association of North Dakota Agribusiness (ANDA) and will begin operation on June 1st, 2026.
